Born in Purworejo on July 22, 1948. She’s currently active as Chairwoman of the Central Executive Board of the PPTI (Indonesian Tuberculosis Eradication Association) since 2012. PPTI is a member of the Forum Stop TB Partnership Indonesia (FSTPI), a civil society organization. PPTI Pusat is also a member of the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IUATLD) since 1969. She’s also a tobacco control administrator and activist and for more than 15 years has been the Head of the Cooperation and Fund Development Division of the National Commission on Tobacco Control. Her efforts in assisting funding for the National Tobacco Control Commission’s activity programs and expanding advocacy and lobbying for tobacco control to all components of society, both NGOs, the government and the DPR, have encouraged a comprehensive tobacco control policy in Indonesia, so that it can protect the public, especially the younger generation, from the dangers of cigarette smoke. She joined the Company as an advisor in September 2022 with the main role of assisting BOC in advising social activities in Indonesia.
